REDESO has supported government efforts to combat the COVID-19 outbreak

REDESO in partnership with OXFAM Tanzania has supported government efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The assistance was given to Kishapu Health Center dedicated for CORONA patients.

REDESO Project Manager Mr. Charles Buregeya during handing over of the medical equipment including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 205, SURGICAL Face Masks 970, Face Masks (N95) 1200, 11 tins of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurete said that since REDESO is implementing the project on disaster risk reduction response, through the partnership with Oxfam, the organization has joined other stakeholders to support the government to fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the Kishapu District Commissioner (DC) after receiving the medical supplies thanked REDESO in collaboration with Oxfam for contributing to the efforts of government on COVID-19 preparedness, prevention and response plan. He also thanked the public, staff and nurses for working together to protect themselves against Corona while urging them to continue protecting themselves against Corona.

These materials have been handed over to the Safety and Security Committee under the head of the Kishapu District

So far Kishapu district has no confirmed corona cases yet, let us continue taking preventive measures against Corona.
